A team led by partner Ryan Ferry acted for the Kang family office to unwind a complex alleged fraud to return the iconic Fota Island Resort, the Kingsley Hotel and several other Cork located commercial properties to the rightful ownership of the Kang family office.
The hotels were purchased by Mr Yuzhu Kang in 2013/2014 from NAMA before being gradually diverted to the Defendants' entities in Hong Kong and the Seychelles through a serious of transactions that have now been unwound by the High Court.
The multidisciplinary team included Sarah Kelly (Real Estate) Laura Bohan (Finance) Paddy Quinlan and Ameer Gazder (Corporate).
