Summer Vacation Scheme
The Summer Vacation Scheme is a great opportunity to get a first sense of life at the firm and a flavour of the work and people you’ll be working alongside. Our Summer Vacation Scheme is the only way to be considered for a training contract position at the firm. To be eligible, you'll need to be in the second year of your degree or beyond.
Stage 1: Application form
You'll be required to submit an online application which details your work and education history, and you'll also need to answer some competency questions. We work with Rare Contextualised Recruitment, so every application we receive is looked at in context.
Applications for our 2024 Summer Vacation Scheme are now open. The deadline for applications for the Summer Vacation Scheme is 1 December 2023.
Stage 2: Online assessment
After screening your online application you'll be required to complete an online assessment. Once completed, you’ll be notified as to whether you have been successful in gaining a place at our assessment centre.
Stage 3: Assessment centre
Taking place between January and March, the assessment centre is the final stage of our process.
The group exercise is a chance to showcase your teamwork, group debate and presentation skills. The commercial awareness and written exercises are an opportunity for you to show your commerciality, relevant to a career at Taylor Wessing.
You’ll also attend your competency-based interview with one of our partners and either a senior associate or member of the Talent team. In the interview we’ll learn more about you, your motivations and the skills you have for a successful career with us.
Stage 4: Vacation Scheme offer
