Yolandi is an associate of the Intellectual Property practice group. Yolandi has a technical background in microbiology and biochemistry allowing her to contribute and provide insight during litigation matters pertaining to life sciences.
Yolandi is a qualified South African Patent Attorney and admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa holding degrees in both law and science. During the subsistence of her career in intellectual property, Yolandi has attended to the drafting, prosecution and enforcement of patents relating to mechanical and life science inventions as well as the drafting and enforcement of design related matters. She also has experience in conducting patent novelty searches and the drafting of validity and infringement opinions coinciding with the bringing and/or defending of litigation matters relating thereto.
