Tim is a counsel within our Technology and Data team. He was sworn in as an attorney-at-law in 2011 and has specialised in Tech, Data and IP, focusing on the protection of new developments, technology and creations.
He has extensive experience regarding the legal aspects of Technology, Data (protection), and Intellectual Property matters. As a member of the Tech & Data Team and the Technology, Media and Communications Sector Group, Tim understands the interplay between law and technological and creative innovation like no other. Aware that legal frameworks can lag behind or even hinder progress, he helps businesses maximise their innovations so that the law becomes an enabler rather than a barrier. Tim regularly advises on Tech & Data and Intellectual Property issues as well as related contract law matters. He is highly regarded for his strategic insight and pragmatic approach.
