Taylor Wessing has advised Inpower Invest AS on the sale of RAMME Electric Machines GmbH to Addtech AB, a Swedish technical solutions group listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
RAMME is a leading manufacturer of electric permanent magnet motors and generators, primarily focused on high-performance solutions for the maritime electrification industry. The company offers specialized propulsion, dynamic positioning- and hybrid operations solutions for a broad range of maritime vessels. Headquartered in Osterwieck, Germany, RAMME has a broad geographical presence with primary focus on European OEM manufacturers, system integrators and shipyards. With approximately 156 employees and annual revenues of EUR 38 million, RAMME has established a strong market position within maritime electrification technologies and is currently on a strong growth trajectory.
The transaction was successfully completed on 10 March 2026 following the satisfaction of customary regulatory approvals.
