A team led by Hamburg Corporate Partner Dr Tillmann Pfeifer from international law firm Taylor Wessing has advised BayWa r.e. Wind GmbH on the transaction documentation (share purchase agreements and general transfer agreements) for the sale of the Jembke wind farm in Lower Saxony to ENOVA and the Reichenbach wind farm in Rhineland-Palatinate to KGAL. Both wind farms are still in the construction phase.
The Jembke wind farm comprises three Nordex wind turbines and will have a total capacity of 15.3 MW generating around 28,000 MWh of electricity per year after completion in May 2025. The Reichenbach wind farm is being built with three Vestas wind turbines with a total output of 18.6 MW and is scheduled to start feeding around 42,000 MWh of green electricity into the grid in November 2024.
