Taylor Wessing expands with Corporate Crime & Compliance team led by Charlotte Posthuma

Taylor Wessing has further expanded its Corporate Crime & Compliance expertise with the arrival of Partner Charlotte Posthuma, Associate Leonie Hogenkamp and Associate Loes Joosten, with Charlotte leading this fast-growing practice. The all-female team will be integrated into the existing Disputes & Investigations team from 1 June 2024. 

In our increasingly complex society, supervision and regulation, which every business has to deal with, play an increasing role. Charlotte and her team advise clients on compliance in a broad sense, supporting companies to meet all legal obligations and, in this context, also draft compliance programmes and train staff. Charlotte and her team provide expert assistance in the event of regulatory intervention, both in criminal investigations and penalty investigations, always with a focus on limiting reputational damage and minimising commercial impact for your business. Charlotte and her team focus on (anti)money laundering, corruption, forgery, environmental criminal law, industrial accidents and international sanctions imposed on governments (e.g. issues related business dealings in Russia or Iran).

Taylor Wessing heeft haar expertise op het vlak van Corporate Crime & Compliance verder uitgebreid met de komst van Partner Charlotte Posthuma, Associate Leonie Hogenkamp en Associate Loes Joosten. Charlotte zal bovendien leiding gaan geven aan deze sterk groeiende praktijk. Het all-female team wordt per 1 juni 2024 geïntegreerd in het bestaande Disputes & Investigations team.

Charlotte en haar team bieden deskundige bijstand in geval van ingrijpen door de toezichthouder, zowel in strafrechtelijke onderzoeken als in boete-onderzoeken. Dit steeds met een nadruk op het beperken van reputatieschade en het minimaliseren van commerciële impact voor uw onderneming. Charlotte en haar team hebben een focus op (anti-)witwassen, corruptie, valsheid in geschrifte, milieustrafrecht, arbeidsongevallen en internationale sancties ingesteld jegens overheden (denk hierbij aan vraagstukken die te maken hebben met zakendoen in Rusland of Iran).
