Katie Chandler joins International Association of Defense Counsel

Katie Chandler, partner in Taylor Wessing's Disputes and Investigations group, has accepted an invitation to join The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), the preeminent invitation-only global legal organisation for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests. The IADC's activities have benefited its approximately 2,500 members and their clients, as well as the civil justice system and the legal profession, since 1920.

Katie represents corporates in the defence of cross-border, high-value and complex product liability litigation. She also advises clients on product safety compliance and corrective action, including worldwide product recalls. Her experience covers a variety of sectors including life sciences, automotive, consumer and retail, food and drink, and technology, with a particular focus on automated vehicles and the internet of things.

Katie also is a member of DRI International and serves as program vice chair for DRI's Hot Topics in International Law Seminar and received her law degree from BPP Law School in London

Reacting to the announcement, Katie said: “I am delighted to be invited as a new member of the prestigious International Association of Defense Counsel.
