Taylor Wessing's Munich Corporate/M&A team is joined by Dr. Philip Cavaillès (39), who is moving to the Isar as a further equity partner. With his proven expertise in cross-border transactions, he contributes to the further expansion of the internationally active Taylor Wessing's M&A practice.
Dr. Philip Cavaillès comes from Ashurst's Frankfurt office. Since 2009 he has worked in the areas of Corporate/M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital, the last three years as Counsel. Cavaillès joins Taylor Wessing as an expert in M&A transactions with extensive experience in international transactions and joint ventures. He also has broad industry expertise in life science and new technology, engineering and manufacturing, banking and finance.
"Taylor Wessing's corporate/M&A practice in Munich stands for consistently successful work at an outstanding level," stated Dr. Philip Cavaillès. "I am very much looking forward to being part of this strong platform, which provides the perfect setting to bring in and enhance my international market knowledge and my network in the best interest of our clients".
The expansion of the strongly internationally focused Munich M&A team follows a clear strategic plan: "In our Munich M&A team we have a mix of experienced and younger partners and entrepreneurial senior associates from our own ranks. Dr. Philip Cavaillès complements the group of our younger Munich M&A partners as part of a long-term human resources strategy that will ensure further growth at our Munich office," explains Dr. Klaus Grossmann, head of Taylor Wessing's M&A practice group. It is not only his age and international expertise that fit in with the strategy: the Stuttgart-born M&A-expert is, inter alia, well connected with clients in southern Germany.
