Increases to national minimum wage
Since 1 April 2022, employers need to ensure all employees are paid the following higher hourly national minimum wage rates:
- 23 and over: £9.50
- 21-22 years old: £9.18
- 18-20 years old: £6.83
- Under 18: £4.81
- Apprentice: £4.81
