On 27 November, our 20th annual Brands Forum will explore the biggest legal developments impacting brands.
Held at the Andaz Hotel in London, our 2024 Brands Forum will feature informative discussions and panel sessions led by our team of international brands experts.
We’ll be joined by Peter Astley from the Anti-Counterfeiting Group to highlight key considerations for brands managing their anti-counterfeiting strategy. In the afternoon we’ll also have a fireside chat with judges Melissa Clarke and Sir Robin Jacob from past forums, as well as Al Skilton from the UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO), where we’ll discuss 20 years of legal developments concerning brands, including a spotlight on SkyKick v Sky.
Following the recent SkyKick v Sky judgment, we've adjusted our Brands Forum agenda to discuss how brands now need to approach specification drafting and enforcement given the lower threshold for bad faith. We’ll also be hearing what our panel of expert judges and decision-makers glean from the ruling.
