Rita is a member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice area. Rita has a broad knowledge of data protection, IT security law and technology related legal challenges.
Her practice primarily covers digital business models, privacy compliance, cyber security and cross-border data transfers as well as IT contract law. She also assists clients in the defense in claims pertaining to data leaks and alleged GDPR violations, including negotiations with competent public authorities.
Rita’s practice is characterized by a pragmatic and efficient approach. Start-ups, e-commerce platforms, medium-sized companies as well as clients with multinational operations appreciate Rita’s broad and yet in-depth legal expertise, especially in an international context.
Rita studied Law at the Humboldt University Berlin and the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas. In addition to the German State Examinations, she acquired a Licence en droit and a Maîtrise en droit (European law) during her time in France. Rita has already worked as a graduate research assistant at Taylor Wessing and completed a part of her legal training at the firms’ Silicon Valley and Berlin offices.
