The agreement was signed on 14 November 2024; the transaction is still subject to merger control and investment control approvals.finanzen.net was founded in 2000 by Jens Ohr and Peter Schille. In 2010, it was spun off into the independent company finanzen.net GmbH, in which Axel Springer holds a majority stake alongside the founders.
Under the new management, the Group's three previously separate business units, the investment platform Zero, the capital market information portal Finanzen.net and Traderfox, a trading software platform for private investors, are to be merged. The plan is to offer additional savings and investment products in the future. With the expanded product portfolio, finanzen.net will fulfil the role of a comprehensive financial partner for its customers.
Jens Ohr and Peter Schille, founders and partners of finanzen.net: "The partnership with Inflexion opens up an exciting new phase for finanzen.net with accelerated growth. In choosing Inflexion as a partner, we were clearly convinced by their experience with founder-led companies and their comprehensive understanding of the industry.
