Advising on Graig's sale of Idwal Marine Services to LDC

We have advised Graig on its sale of Idwal Marine Services, a global leader in vessel inspections, benchmarking and analysis to its management team and private equity investor LDC.

Founded in 2010 by Graig Shipping PLC, Idwal is a leading provider of tech-enabled inspection services for the global commercial shipping sector. Its Idwal Grade® asset condition rating enables sector per-group benchmarking and has become a recognised standard in the industry.

Graig, a 100-year-old UK based entrepreneurial global shipping group, specialises in structuring, advising and leading investments in services and shipping assets in the international marine market. Idwal was a further example of the group’s successful track-record of developing “best in class” marine based business innovations and ventures.
