Today we announce the completion of a new permanent office space in Cambridge's prestigious business area on Station Road.
The move is the latest step in the firm's continued commitment to its clients with interests in Cambridge and emphasises the success it's established since opening an office in the region over 20 years ago, in 2002.
The firm is moving to a new office space in the newly developed business area on Station Road. Occupying the third floor of 22 Station Road, it's one of the largest and most modern offices in central Cambridge, positioned opposite the Microsoft Research headquarters and Amazon offices.
The firm has shown clear investment to grow its capability in recent years with the appointments of Ross McNaughton and Adrian Toutoungi, and most recently with the announcement of two new training contracts being offered in the region. The new space enables the firm to double its size in Cambridge and boasts impressive client space.
Cambridge based partner, Ross McNaughton said: "Cambridge is an extremely important market for Taylor Wessing and continues to deliver opportunities and innovation on a global scale. The region has a rich legacy in cutting edge developments in deep tech and life sciences, which are core areas for our firm. The new space reaffirms our commitment to the region and enables us to have more expertise on the ground for our clients, working with our colleagues around the world to support local companies' growth plans and developments on an international scale."
Managing Partner Shane Gleghorn commented: "We have had a great team in Cambridge with outstanding reputations in the industry for their leading expertise for over 20 years. The demand we're seeing for our advice in the life sciences and deep tech sectors in particular shows the strength of the market, and our team continues to grow around that client demand. We are delighted with the impact that our Cambridge team has made for those clients, and moving to this fantastic space is an opportunity to expand our offering and attract more outstanding talent."
Taylor Wessing was one of the first international law firms to establish a presence in the market and, like its Stateside equivalent, has built an established reputation with the life sciences and technology sector communities in this global innovation hub.
