We're expanding again, and welcome our third duo partner appointment this month, with the hire of leading data protection and privacy lawyer Victoria Hordern and pensions expert Anna Taylor.
Victoria joins the firm as a partner in London from Bates Wells. She has extensive international expertise having worked for various firms, including Hogan Lovells and FieldFisher, and having spent time working in Silicon Valley. Victoria advises on all aspects of EU and UK data protection and privacy compliance, including GDPR implementation, employee privacy compliance, online privacy issues, interactions with healthcare systems for product manufacturers and the export of personal data from the UK and EU.
Anna Taylor is also joining the firm from Linklaters as a new partner based in London. She is an extremely reputable pensions lawyer with many years' experience advising both trustees and employers on all legal issues concerning pension arrangements.
Commenting on these recent appointments, Managing Partner Shane Gleghorn said: "As international data protection regulations continue to evolve, bringing more flexibility for organisations in the UK, Victoria's expertise in the life sciences sector will be invaluable for our clients in this thriving industry, particularly those who depend on clinical data from patients and users for cutting-edge product development. Her focus on advising multinational life sciences and data-rich technology companies enhances our reputation in these sectors."
He continued: "Anna has an established reputation for advising on the full range of pensions schemes in the market. As demand for our support in M&A transactions continues to increase across many sectors, her expertise advising and guiding clients through buy ins and buy outs is incredibly valuable."
