We have been named by the India Business Law Journal as a leading firm for work in India.

India Business Law Journal's list reveals the India-related accomplishments of law firms around the world. Its report, now in its 14th year, draws on an analysis from more than 600 law firms across the globe.

The report is based on rigorous research, editorial experience and extensive consultation with corporate counsel and Indian law firms and identifies the top international India experts and firms, considered to be among the top lawyers for advising on the international aspects of India-related matters.

The list recognises our reputation in resolving complex disputes, particularly in the life sciences and healthcare sector. In addition, it acknowledges our expertise in technology, communications, brand protection and financial services.

This recognition also emphasises the leadership of Laurence Lieberman, a partner our Disputes and Investigations group, as the longstanding head of the firm's India group. He regularly travels to India, acting for Indian multinationals across a range of sectors, whether in his own area of expertise, disputes, or involving colleagues on M&A, fund-raising, IP and cross-border trade and expansion.

In March 2020, Laurence Lieberman was named in the International A List 2020 in the India Business Law Journal, as an expert London lawyer with particular expertise in the Indian market.
