We are Legal Cheek's Law Firm of the Year

Taylor Wessing has won the award for Law Firm of the Year at the Legal Cheek Awards 2019.

The Legal Cheek Awards are a measure of success in the recruitment and development of the next generation of the legal profession. Voted for by the future lawyers themselves, the awards are a recognition of the expertise and dedication of the winning firm.

The award follows an impressive sweep of A*s in the Legal Cheek Trainee and Junior Lawyer Survey 2018-19. Surveying over 2,000 trainees and junior associates at the country’s 80 leading corporate law firms, the survey gives a clear indication of the quality of professional life for junior lawyers.

Legal Cheek was founded in 2011 by Alex Aldridge, formerly a journalist for The Guardian and Legal Week. It has grown to become a leading news source for junior lawyers and law student in the UK.

Commenting on the win, graduate recruitment partner Matthew Royle, said: "It is clear that the quality and variety of work, along with our leading tech-savvy, has contributed to our success. Trainees themselves say that the firm offers interesting challenging work that allows talent to flourish. I am proud to see that we have such motivated staff who are the future of the legal profession."

The ceremony took place on 21 March 2019 at Landing 42 of the Cheesegrater in the City of London.
