Taylor Wessing has become an official partner of The Mayor’s International Business Programme.
This partnership will see the firm work alongside a select group of leading organisations to support businesses with their global growth ambitions. As one of only two law firms, other partners invested in the programme include Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Collinson, KPMG, and Lloyd’s Banking Group.
The programme provides a bespoke mentoring scheme, delivered by leading entrepreneurs and business leaders, expert advice and workshops, targeted trade missions, and access to live leads and opportunities. It is open to fast-growing companies in London operating in four broad sectors: technology, life sciences, urban infrastructure and creative industries.
The firm is recognised for its work in the most dynamic global industries helping businesses succeed by thinking innovatively about their issues. This aligns with the objectives of The Mayor’s International Business Programme and is one of the main reasons for this partnership.
Expanding on the reasons for supporting the Mayor's International Business Programme, Managing Partner Shane Gleghorn, said: “Our firm shares the mayor’s vision of growing businesses in technology, life sciences, infrastructure and the creative industries. We are pleased to be able to lend our support and contribute to a programme that will assist those businesses to succeed.“
