EU AI Act and the insurance industry - an interview with Allianz | Tech Me Up! Session #2

Join us for the second session in season two of our Tech Me Up! Series. This session takes a closer look at the impact of the EU AI Act on the Insurance Industry. Taylor Wessing Partner Christian Frank (Germany) interviews speakers from Allianz Kunde und Markt: Klaus Driever (Senior Executive Digital Strategy, Legal & Regulatory) and Florian Jell (Chief Data Officer) who share their views and experience.

The session aims to:

• discuss how AI technologies have already changed value chains in the insurance industry;
• tackle the regulatory challenges that the EU AI Act poses; we will focus on both established players and startups in the Insurance industry and we'd address in more detail, the possible consequences for the EU startup eco system;
• take a look at AI use cases, for example: how to measure and improve return on investment when considering scalability.
