On 8 June we hosted our annual copyright seminar in our office in London. We covered the latest copyright updates from the UK and were joined by colleagues from across the EU to update us on the practical impact of the DSM Copyright Directive, one year after its implementation deadline. We were then lucky to be joined by our headline speaker, Kevin Brennan MP, who provided his insights on next steps following the DCMS Select Committee's inquiry into the economics of music streaming, his Private Members' Bill and the CMA's market study.
