EDPB guidance on Schrems II and new draft SCCs – what do they mean for data transfers?

The EDPB has published recommendations on supplementary measures to help protect data transferred from the EEA to third countries but warns that there is no 'quick fix'.

This was followed by the Commission's publication of the long-awaited draft new Standard Contractual Clauses, designed to be modular and covering a wider range of transfer types.
