Parloa, a pioneer in AI-powered customer services based in Berlin, Munich and New York, has secured $350 million in a Series D round tripling its valuation to $3 billion just nine months after becoming a unicorn in May 2025. The investor round is led by General Catalyst with participation of Durable Capital Partners, Altimeter Capital, EQT Ventures, RPT Capital, Senovo and Mosaic Ventures.
As in the previous financing round, General Catalyst was advised on all legal aspects of the transaction by a Taylor Wessing team led by corporate technology/growth expert Dr Norman Röchert.
Parloa was founded in Berlin in 2018 by Malte Kosub and Stefan Ostwald with the aim of transforming customer service for businesses through agentic AI. With the launch of its AI Agent Management Platform (AMP) – the industry's first artificial intelligence platform designed specifically for customer contact in businesses – Parloa is generating annual revenue of $50 million. The business model benefits from the growing demand for modernized customer services in the form of AI-based telephone assistants, particularly in the areas of e-commerce and retail, financial services, and travel and hospitality. New business is currently being driven primarily by companies in the United States. Parloa currently employs around 350 people in Berlin, Munich and New York.
General Catalyst is a global investment and transformation company that works with the world's most ambitious entrepreneurs to drive resilience and applied AI.
