Taylor Wessing advises TIB Chemicals AG on the acquisition of REAXIS Inc.

A German-Dutch team from the international commercial law firm Taylor Wessing has provided comprehensive legal advice to TIB Chemicals AG, a leading chemical company with headquarters in Mannheim, on the successful acquisition of the North American company REAXIS Inc. Under the leadership of the Frankfurt-based M&A expert Stephan Doom, the interdisciplinary team of lawyers advised the internationally operating medium-sized company on all legal aspects of the transaction. In the US, the law firm Barnes & Thornburg has provided support for the transaction via its Chicago office.

With this acquisition, TIB Chemicals AG is further expanding its global presence and strengthening its position as a global supplier of tin chemicals, particularly tin catalysts. REAXIS, a renowned manufacturer and developer of metal-based specialty chemical additives used in a variety of industries worldwide, ideally complements TIB Chemicals' product portfolio and opens up new growth opportunities in key markets.
