Presentation of the coveted JUVE Awards
Taylor Wessing has won one of the most prestigious awards in the legal sector in the German-speaking world, the 'Law Firm of the Year Austria' award, presented by the renowned legal publisher JUVE. At a gala event in Frankfurt on 24 October, awards were presented in a total of 18 categories, 17 of which were for law firms in Germany. In the category 'Law Firm of the Year Austria', Taylor Wessing emerged as the winner from five nominees.

Overall development counts
According to JUVE, 'Law Firm of the Year Austria' is an award that 'recognises the overall development of Austrian law firms and, in particular, their management performance beyond individual practice areas. The
editors also take into account aspects of sustainability, continuity and rigorous action compared to previous years in this category.
The criteria include strategic performance, client focus, firm culture, junior staff policy, profitability, staff growth and expansion into new business areas or markets. The decisive factor is a dynamic development over the past 12 months.
JUVE has been presenting its annual awards since 2001. The publishing house was originally founded in 1997 with the idea of bringing the Anglo-Saxon concept of the legal press to Germany and has also covered the Austrian market since 2012. The 'Law Firm of the Year Austria' award was launched in 2013.
