Taylor Wessing has advised the shareholders of GREYHOUND Software GmbH & Co. KG ("GREYHOUND") on the sale to JTL-Software-GmbH, a portfolio company of private equity investor Hg.
GREYHOUND, based in Melle, Lower Saxony, has developed software that links customer enquiries with order and transaction information in ERP and accounting systems. GREYHOUND's customers can use the platform to better organise and document their service.
JTL-Software-GmbH is one of the leading providers of e-commerce software in German-speaking countries. Private equity investor Hg, which specialises in software and service companies, invested in JTL at the end of 2023 and is supporting the company in implementing a buy-and-build strategy.
