Taylor Wessing advises The Exploration Company on the foundation and seed financing round by Promus Ventures, Vquared Ventures and Cherry Ventures

Taylor Wessing, led by Munich based partner Dr. Peter Hellich, has advised The Exploration Company GmbH on its foundation and subsequent seed financing round by Promus Ventures, Vquared Ventures and Cherry Ventures. The investment of EUR 6.8 million will serve to start the company’s operations.

About The Exploration Company:

The Exploration Company (TEC) specialises in the design, production and operation of modular and reusable orbital vehicles. TEC’s vehicles will be able to refuel in orbit and carry cargo at much lesser cost rates than available today, with a scope of missions ranging from 3-6 months around the Earth (and re-entry) to landing on the Moon (and coming back), including the possibility to hop 50-100km from point-to-point while on the Moon.
