We advised Hentsū Limited on its acquisition by Portfolio BI, a leading provider of front-to-back solutions for order management, portfolio management, data management, and reporting for the buy-side.
Hentsū is a global provider of fully managed AWS and Azure cloud platforms for fund managers with on-demand applications, compute clusters, and connectivity to market data providers, brokers, and exchanges.
The deal involved expertise drawn from across our corporate, employment, tax and incentives and commercial technology and data team.
Commenting on the deal, corporate technology partner Josef Fuss, said: "As the industry's first managed service provider specialising in public cloud environments, Hentsū's technology is a leader in its field. As a firm, we specialise in working for the real innovators and the most cutting-edge companies in the market. Having previously advised Hentsū on its growth financings, it is great to have supported the team on this exciting next step of its evolution and I am looking forward to seeing the development of this offering under Portfolio BI."
Hentsū's CEO Marko Djukic said: "We are delighted to join Portfolio BI and to be part of the expanded offering for portfolio managers, investment analysts, risk professionals, and operations teams. Taylor Wessing has been our trusted advisers since the early stages of the company and Josef Fuss, Sarah Cole and the wider team were instrumental in getting this deal over the line."
