Advising RBH as it lands another hotel at Heathrow

We have advised long-standing client RBH Hospitality Management on a management agreement for the operation of a new Ibis Budget hotel to be opened at Heathrow Terminal 5.

The hotel will replace the current Travelodge at the airport which has been terminated as a result of the Travelodge CVA process.

This deal follows the recent Holiday Inn in Blackpool, part of the Blackpool regeneration project, where we also acted for RBH.

Commenting on the project, partner and Head of Hotels & Leisure Richard Bursby said: "Landlords who are part of the Travelodge CVA 2020 have faced the choice of sticking with Travelodge or looking at other options. Since this is Travelodge's second CVA, many landlords have opted for a change. The owner of this Hotel has decided to bring in RBH, the UK leading hospitality management company, to operate the hotel under Accor's Ibis brand."
