We have advised Accuro, an award winning trust and private office business, on its sale to Opera Group Limited (Opera), an international financial services group.
Accuro is recognised as one of the leading specialists in private office and trust administration, with a multi-jurisdictional platform of more than 220 professionals across Jersey, Geneva, Mauritius and London. The firm provides tailored services for private clients, focusing on high net worth families and entrepreneurs globally.
Opera is a privately held financial services group spanning fiduciary, corporate and fund administration. It brings together culturally aligned, client-focused firms under a unique long-term ownership model. Opera is majority backed by Pula, the family office of Stephen Lansdown CBE – co-founder of Hargreaves Lansdown – alongside like-minded shareholders such as Sealyham, the family office of Tom Scott.
The transaction further strengthens Opera’s platform within key strategic markets while preserving Accuro’s legacy of responsible stewardship and client-centric service.
Commenting on the transaction corporate partner Jonny Bethell, who led on the deal, said: “This deal underscores our expertise in advising clients on M&A transactions in the financial services and private wealth sectors. Having advised on their MBO from previous owners, we are delighted to have supported them again on this exciting new chapter in their journey."
