Starting from January 2025, Ákos Mátés-Lányi has joined the Budapest office of international law firm Taylor Wessing as Partner. He will be reinforcing the Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets practices.
Since the beginning of his legal career in 2006, Ákos has been a corporate lawyer. Prior to joining Taylor Wessing, Ákos worked at leading international law firms in Hungary where he advised clients on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, restructurings, and management incentive arrangements. Ákos graduated from ELTE’s Faculty of Law in 2006, in addition, he completed postgraduate studies in Economics in 2017. He is fluent in English besides his native Hungarian.
Ákos is joining the current Taylor Wessing Hungary partners Torsten Braner, Dániel Ódor and Zoltán Novák.
