Led by Peter Hellich and Daniel Schrembs, Taylor Wessing has provided legal advice to Emerald Technology Ventures as lead investor in the Series A growth financing round for deep tech startup sewts GmbH.
sewts, a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich, is active in the field of automation, in particular robotics. This includes research, development, approval, production and distribution of software and hardware in the field of robotics, machines and plants (mechanical engineering), in particular handling systems of form-instable materials and for controlling perception-based robots. The company offers, among other things, automation solutions for the textile industry and laundries.
