We have advised Tritax Big Box, the largest listed investor in high-quality logistics warehouse assets on its £58.5 million acquisition of Junction 6 Industrial Park, a 12-unit industrial estate in Birmingham.
Tritax Big Box controls the largest logistics-focused land platform in the UK and is committed to delivering attractive and sustainable returns for shareholders by investing in and actively managing existing built investments and land suitable for logistics development. It focuses on well-located, modern logistics assets, typically let to institutional-grade tenants on long-term leases with upward-only rent reviews and geographic and tenant diversification throughout the UK.
This is the company's first acquisition of a multi-let urban logistics estate with units ranging in size between 12,000 and 83,000 sq ft. As the industrial park is one of the UK's leading urban logistics estates of scale, this acquisition complements the company's investment portfolio and increases the company's customer offer and provides attractive asset management opportunities to grow rental income.
