Trade Republic Bank GmbH, founded by Marco Cancellieri, Christian Hecker and Thomas Pischke in 2015, is a FinTech startup from Berlin. Trade Republic offers a mobile device solution for trading Stocks, ETFs and Derivatives. The outstanding characteristic of Trade Republic's solution is that users do not pay any commission for trading via the app, as it is normally the case. Instead, users pay a fixed fee of one euro per trade.
The Series C financing round raises Trade Republic’s valuation to over USD 5 billion making the Berlin-based neo-broker start-up to one of the highest valued FinTech "unicorns" in Europe.
