Nick Warr cements position as top tax and trust lawyer in Spear's index

Nick Warr, partner and Head of the International Private Wealth group at international law firm Taylor Wessing, has again been named as one of the UK's top ten tax and trust lawyers by Spear's.

One of the leading private wealth publications, Spear's Tax & Trust Index, published this week, is the result of extensive research into the views of high net worth individuals, their advisors, and peers in the private wealth sector.

Nick specialises in advising international high net worth individuals and families with regards to their fiscal and succession planning requirements. He has particular expertise in advising individuals from the finance industry on all aspects of their personal and corporate structuring and acts for a significant number of investment bankers, hedge fund managers and private equity principals from leading organisations and funds.

As stated in the survey, Nick continues to live up to his strong reputation in the market. He is particularly noted for his work with ‘a significant number of finance executives, hedge fund managers and private equity principals from top-tier organisations and funds’, with work valued within the ‘£500 million-plus’ range.

This is one of the many accolades that Nick has received from Spear's over the years. In 2018, Nick was named 'Lawyer of the Year – Tax and Trusts' at Spear's Wealth Management Awards.

Alongside his recognition from Spear's, Nick's work has earned him recognition as a "Leading Individual within Private Wealth Law" in the Chambers High Net Worth UK 2020 guide. This accolade reflects the international nature of his work, his technical knowledge and ability to convey complex matters in an understandable way to his clients.
