Leasing agreement for Harel Group with iconic architecture firm

Taylor Wessing has advised Harel Group on the signing of a deal with architecture firm Conran and Partners.

The agreement for lease will see Conran and Partners expand into a new building in Clerkenwell owned by Harel Group. Conran and Partners has signed to take over 8600 square feet of space at recently refurbished building 30a Great Sutton Street.

There will be space for around 85 people and the move is expected to be in the Autumn.

Commenting on the transaction, Keith Barnett, partner and head of the Real Estate group at Taylor Wessing commented: Everyone knows what a challenging times this is to get deals done. The fact that we were able to complete this deal just as the effects of COVID-19 were being felt by the market is a testament to the quality of the space available, the strength of the London office market and our ability  to provide a full client service, even in an environment that meant we had to complete this deal away from the office."

The team was led by Keith Barnett with support from senior associate Hanna Ross and associate Ralph Wood. Construction and engineering partner David Quinlan also worked on the deal.
