Laurence Lieberman cements position as expert lawyer in India Business Law Journal's International A List

Laurence Lieberman, partner in Taylor Wessing's Disputes & Investigations group, has been named in the International A List 2020 in the India Business Law Journal, as an expert London lawyer with particular expertise in the Indian market for the second year in a row.

The India Business Law Journal's International A List identifies the top international India experts, considered to be among the world's top lawyers for advising on the international aspects of India-related matters. The recognised legal experts are nominated by professionals at a wide range of Indian and global companies and Indian law firms, topped with extensive research conducted by India Business Law Journal.

This recognition emphasises Laurence's position as the head of the firm's India group. He regularly travels to India, acting for, or internally referring, Indian multinationals across a range of sectors, whether disputes, M&A, fund-raising, IP, or cross-border trade and expansion.

Laurence received outstanding comments on his nomination. He was described as a "seasoned litigator who knows the Indian pulse and has been cultivating a set of prestigious clients in India over the years." He was also described as "a ‘go to’ person for Indian clients.”
