Taylor Wessing expands its disputes and investigations team with new international arbitration partner

We're pleased to announce the appointment of arbitration specialist Nick Storrs as a partner*.

Nick joins the firm today from Signature Litigation where he specialised in international arbitration and commercial litigation.

Nick helps clients in arbitrations under institutional rules and in ad hoc proceedings. He also has extensive experience of conducting proceedings before the English High Court, including obtaining freezing injunctions and managing enforcement proceedings. Many of his cases concern interests held in Eastern Europe and Central Asia – from shareholder actions, joint venture disputes and disputes arising from complex financing arrangements.

Managing Partner Shane Gleghorn said: “Arbitration is an area that we are investing in. We are seeing a rich stream of opportunities, including disputes arising in Russia and the CIS. This hire comes off the back of the recent appointment of Anne Josephus Jitta in our Amsterdam office who also specialises in international arbitration work. We have substantial international arbitration expertise across our disputes and investigations team and Nick’s appointment brings a dedicated UK focus to provide support for our clients."

Welcoming Nick to the firm, Partner and International Co-Head of Disputes & Investigations, Andrew Howell said: “Nick's experience and skills in international arbitration speak for themselves. We're delighted to be welcoming him to the firm and look forward to introducing him to our growing team across Europe and Asia."
