We're pleased announce this year's Copyright seminar. We will cover practical AI strategies, the DSM Directive six years on, how best to control content online and international case law updates. We're delighted to welcome Lord Holmes of Richmond as our keynote speaker on UK AI regulation.
Practical AI strategies: guardrails and workflows for AI deployment, features of AI licensing deals, remuneration models for AI use of copyright content, and implications of the EU AI Office's Copyright Code of Practice for GPAI models.
DSM Directive: the impact of this milestone EU legislation, six years since its introduction.
Case law update: the latest need-to-know cases from the UK, the US and Europe.
How best to control content online: the tools, procedures and approaches available to content owners to remove infringing content.
Fireside chat with Lord Holmes of Richmond: aside from his successes outside and inside Parliament, Lord Holmes is the sponsor of the Artificial Intelligence (Regulation) Bill, so we will discuss the prospects for copyright policy-making and AI regulation.
As well as colleagues from our international offices, we will be joined by Dan Schnapp of Sheppard Mullin in the US and Gwilym Harbottle of Hogarth Chambers.
