Emma Jordan, the firm’s Head of Contentious Trusts, has been included in eprivateclient’s ’50 Most Influential’ ranking.
The ’50 Most Influential’ seeks to identify, recognise, promote and introduce the UK’s leading Private client practitioners. Those who have made it onto the list are recognised as leaders and innovators when it comes to providing the best possible service for clients.
This year Emma worked on the precedent setting Z Trust litigation. The case provided clarity on the entitlement of a former trustee to the assets of an insolvent trust. It has consequences for the industry across all trust jurisdictions, giving former trustees reassurance that indemnity provides security when handing over trust assets.
The ranking follows Emma being named in The Lawyer magazine’s Hot 100 for 2018 where she was recognised for experience in building up an 'impressive record of precedent-setting cases in her contentious trust practice' Emma was also described as having 'extensive experience of practising in offshore jurisdiction giving her a further advantage in winning mandates on cutting edge, complex and sensitive trust claims'.
Emma Jordan joined Taylor Wessing in 2015 as Head of Contentious Trusts within the Private client group. She specialises in all aspects of contentious trusts work, with a particular focus on advising and representing trustees and high net worth individuals on a range of trust issues in litigation.
