The Berlin Proptech start-up McMakler has raised 50 million euros as part of a Series C financing round. With the fresh capital from the financing round, the company intends to further expand its pioneering role as a modern real estate broker, combining industry-leading technology and personal advice from its own brokers, and to become the European market leader in Proptech. Taylor Wessing has advised McMakler on all legal issues relating to the Series C financing round.
The financing round was led by Israel Growth Partners, with existing investors such as Frog Capital and Target Global also participating.
The Berlin Proptech startup McMakler offers real estate brokerage from a single source. The company was founded by Hanno Heintzenberg and Lukas Pieczonka in 2015. With currently about 450 employees and more than 100 locations in Germany alone, the company is now seeking further expansion in Germany, Austria and France. The company's platform is now used by some 225 of its own estate agents to sell real estate.
