HM Treasury has just confirmed that the Enterprise Investment Scheme and Venture Capital Trust Scheme have both been extended by a further ten years to 5 April 2035.
They were due to end on 5 April 2025. This announcement is a welcome continuation of the regime which provides investors providing equity finance to new and innovative businesses with tax reliefs to encourage investment.
