The EU Digital Omnibus proposal aims to simplify and streamline aspects of the EU's digital legislation framework. In two parts, it covers 'quick fixes' for some of the pain points in the AI Act, and amends the data acquis, most notably the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive and the Data Act. We look at some of the most significant elements and at what they will mean in practice if they go through as currently drafted.
