Lerika Le Grange

Lerika is a finance partner with a multi-specialist practice who brings a breadth of experience to finance transactions.

She advises financial institutions, corporates, and sponsors on a wide variety of banking and financing work, including general corporate finance, leveraged and acquisition finance, derivatives, trade and receivables finance, asset based lending, venture debt, litigation funding, and debt capital markets.

Lerika's experience also covers distressed debt and restructuring, and she regularly acts on cross-border deals.

Experience

Financial restructuring for UK renewables company	Advised a client on the bespoke debt restructuring of its multi-jurisdictional group including traditional secured and unsecured loans, notes issuances, convertible loan notes and receivables financings owed to 15 lender entities.
Rockpool Investments	Advising Rockpool Investments on investment in MomentumABM, an account-based marketing consultancy provider.
British Steel	White Oak - Advising the senior secured creditor on all aspects of the British Steel insolvency and restructuring and on the complex GBP130m FILO (first -in-last-out) asset based finance structure; we were awarded Finance Team of the Year at the Lawyer awards 2020 for this work.

Helaba on the new 5 year GBP292.5m loan facility to fund the expansion of MediaCityUK	Helaba, an internationally active German commercial bank, acting as coordinator and agent, alongside other co-lenders on the new 5 year GBP292.5m loan facility to Peel Media in relation to the refinance and expansion of MediaCityUK over the next decade. MediaCityUK is an international destination for technology and innovation, and is home to the likes of the BBC, ITV, dock10 and Ericcson.
Arcadia	Acting on the restructuring and CVA of the Arcadia group (including Top Shop, Top Man and Miss Selfridge).
SpectraLegal on its complex GBP100m loan facility agreement	SpectraLegal, the Canadian-backed, UK litigation funder, on a complex and bespoke GBP100m loan facility agreement (with an additional £100m accordion facility) secured predominantly against Spectra's receivables. We also acted on the transfer of loan portfolios within the group and the cancellation and redemption of its two existing senior facilities with a UK bank and U.S. fund respectively.
