Chris Cowley listed in Law.com's Private Equity Rising Stars 2022

Partner Chris Cowley has been listed in Law.com's 2022 Private Equity Rising Stars rankings, beating out hundreds of lawyers across the UK and Europe to make the cut.

The Private Equity Rising Stars 2022 list, compiled by Law.com's extensive research and market feedback process, determined the upcoming best and brightest in the private equity legal. Only 25 are selected for the exclusive rankings.

Chris' work advising Apollo Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company progressing transformative treatments based on breakthrough discoveries, on its $145m financing was cited as a key reason for the listing.

Law.com said: "Chris Cowley stood out in particular for the uniquely complex and novel mandate of advising Apollo Therapeutics on its corporate reorganisation and $145 million series A financing. Cowley worked to develop an innovative structure to facilitate the investment, as well as showcasing real stamina with the daily coordination calls over an eight-week period as well as the significant project management and coordination skills."

The prestigious listing comes after the Apollo Therapeutics deal was nominated for Life Sciences Team of the Year at the upcoming British Legal Awards.
