Subject access survey - our findings

November 2013

As part of our November focus on the topic of data subject access, we have asked people to share their experiences of being on the receiving end of an access request.

Subject access is a core right at the heart of many data protection laws yet, for organisations dealing with applications from people requesting a copy of all their personal data, the right can give rise to significant operational challenges.

Our survey has only been running for a few weeks but is already providing some interesting insights into the use of subject access rights. We will be discussing the results in full in our webinar on 12 November 2013, and you can register for our webinar here.

We have released an extract from the wider survey findings below and will update this page with further findings after the webinar.

The 2 minute survey remains open and can be completed here.
