Georgie is a senior associate in the Employment, Pensions & Mobility group and specialises in advising employer and trustee clients on pensions issues.
Georgie advises in relation to both occupational and personal pension schemes and life assurance arrangements, on issues such as pensions tax, scheme amendments, consulting with the workforce on pension changes, buy-ins and buy-outs, equalisation, rule interpretation issues and negotiations on actuarial valuations (including the introduction and certification of contingent assets such as parent company guarantees). She regularly advises on the pensions aspects of corporate and commercial transactions, including pensions issues on TUPE transfers, acquisitions involving defined benefit pension schemes and pension scheme mergers. Georgie has experience of advising on the practical issues associated with pensions automatic enrolment and has spoken in a number of seminars on this topic.
