Michael Sinhart

Michael specialises in advising on M&A and private equity transactions. He also has in-depth experience in restructuring both in the run-up phase and in the context of insolvencies. In addition, Michael advises on the structuring and dispute resolution of joint ventures and on general corporate law.

A major focus of his practice is advising on infrastructure projects, both in the area of public utilities and social infrastructure. Among other things, he comprehensively advises investors on the market entry and successive portfolio development in this area.

Formycon	Under the leadership of the Frankfurt-based Taylor-Wessing partners Lars-Gerrit Lüßmann and Michael Sinhart, Formycon AG and ATHOS KG are merging their development activities in the field of so-called biosimilars, the follow-up products of biological medicines (biologics), in a long-term strategic partnership. The centrepiece of this agreement is Formycon AG’s participation in the rights of two biosimilars. The volume of the legally complex transaction (aggregate counter-performance) adds up to approximately 650 million euros.
Acquisition of business segment from Danish FLSmitdth	Nantong Rainbow Heavy industries, the Nantong-based manufacturer of heavy machineries (eg portal and overhead cranes) on the acquisition of the "material handling" business segment (including the Wadgassen factory in Saarland / Germany) from the Danish plant manufacturer FLSmitdth.
