Eddie specialises in private funds matters, advising fund managers on fund structuring, formation, capital raising and ongoing operations, as well as advising institutional investors on their private market investments.
Eddie works with fund manager clients on their primary fundraisings, co-investments, secondary transactions and fund restructurings as well as separately managed accounts across all main sectors. He has particular experience with private credit and private equity strategies. He has also worked with fund managers on their internal arrangements including carried interest and house co-invest structures, as well as GP stakes transactions.
Experience acting for institutional investors includes advising pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, funds of funds, family offices and public and private universities based in the UK, central Europe, middle east, far east, Australia and north America.
Since qualifying as a solicitor he has worked in private practice in Dublin and London, and completed in-house secondments at Morgan Stanley in London and BNY Mellon in Dublin.
