Charlotte Garnitsch

Charlotte is a partner in our Intellectual Property team. She is an experienced litigator with a strong focus on patents and industrial design. In addition, she is an expert in both transboundary jurisdiction matters and compensation of damages in IP cases.

She represents and advises both national and international companies in IP matters in areas including mechanical engineering, pharma and retail. Charlotte has a strong ability to think analytically, which is highly beneficial in setting out litigation strategies.
Charlotte graduated from Tilburg University where she completed the master “Dutch Law” (general private law) as well as the master “Law & Technology” (the latter with honours based on her thesis "Patents & Standardization“).
Together with Wim Maas and Carreen Shannon, Charlotte is co-author of the book “The Enforcement Directive: enforcement of IP-rights in The Netherlands”.
